Finding Help and Support
While AD/HD can present many challenges to the adults who live with the disorder, as well as their family, friends and loved ones, there is hope. Proper diagnosis and treatment, education about AD/HD and finding the right tools and strategies can all go a long way toward helping adults with ADHD succeed.
But the support of family and friends, caring professionals, and connections with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of living with ADHD can make the difference from just getting by to leading a happy, productive and fulfilling life.
ADDA helps to provide that support in a variety of ways:
- Find professionals who specialize in AD/HD through our Professional Directory.
- Locate a Support Group in your area.
- Get assistance with starting or maintaining your own local adult support group with our Adult Support Group Manual.
- Participate in our forum groups for members and non-members alike.
ADDA is here to provide all of your needs when it comes to finding help and getting the support you need to successfully manage ADHD as an adult with the disorder, family member or professional.
