Mission:To help ADHD individuals transform failure into success and Linda Anderson is a master certified coach and founder of Getting Clear. She has been actively involved in the world of adult ADHD, since 1993 and has been a coach for over a decade. Today, she serves as president of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) and has participated actively on the board for several years. She also conducts an AD/HD Advanced Skills Coach Training for coaches and clinicians and has written several articles, among them: “A Closer Look At Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder - From The Outside Looking In,” “The Body Double,” and helped in the writing of “The ADDA Guiding Principles for Coaching Individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.” She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and co-founder of the Philadelphia NAPO chapter. Hobbies: Learning about the brain, chemistry, human and animal behavior, Eastern medicine, spirituality, various learning and therapy modalities. She enjoys literature, movies, raising Maine coon cats, and growing with her AD/HD family while experiencing beauty and simplicity in nature and art. Mission: to communicate and model the positive attributes of AD/HD and to consistently reinforce the recognition that it is in our unique differences that AD/HDers will find their greatest strengths and abilities. David Giwerc is a Master Certified Coach and Founder/President of the ADD Coach Academy, a nationally recognized, comprehensive training program designed to teach the skills essential for powerful coaching of individuals with AD/HD. He has an established coaching practice dedicated to AD/HD entrepreneurs and the mentoring of AD/HD coaches. David has been a featured speaker at previous ADDA, CHADD, and International Coach Federation Conventions. He was involved in the development of The ADDA Guiding Principles for Coaching Individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Hobbies: Creative writing, playing congas, listening to jazz music and martial arts workouts, playing congas, and listening to jazz music. Warning: David holds a Black Belt (Shodan) in Budokai Karate and has developed a cardio-karate workout class, which he has offered at past ADDA conferences. Mission: To ensure that ALL individuals with AD/HD receive the support and services they need, regardless of the size of their bank account or color of their skin. Evelyn Polk Green currently serves as President-Elect of the ADDA Board of Directors. She is a Past President of the CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) National Board of Directors. Ms. Green is an adult with AD/HD and the mother of two sons, both of whom are also diagnosed with AD/HD. Her current focus is on improving mental health services, and reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues in urban, poor and minority communities. Ms. Green is a member of the Network on Children’s Mental Health Services funded by the Macarthur Foundation. She also serves as an advisory board member for two NIMH funded Developing Centers and has served as a board member for the University of Chicago Woodlawn Early Childhood Intervention Center and as a consultant on a number of research and service initiatives. Ms. Green is the recipient of several honors for her volunteer work in mental health. Most recently, Beacon College honored Ms. Green Achieving Lifetime Vision and Excellence Award for her advocacy work on behalf of children and adults with learning differences and AD/HD. She frequently represents the parent/ consumer perspective of children’s mental health issues in a variety of venues and often speaks to audiences and the media about topics such as cultural competency, adult AD/HD parenting a child with specials needs and managing AD/HD within the family. Ms. Green is currently employed with the Chicago Public Schools, planning professional development programs. She holds bachelor and master’s degrees from National Louis University and a master’s degree in from Northern Illinois University.
Mission: To help educate, support and encourage adults with ADD to be the best they can be. Mary Jane is an AD/HD Coach (trained in HOPE method with Dr. Ned Hallowell, and AD/HD Coaching at the Optimal Functioning Institute, and has received certification from the International Coaching Federation). She was a founder and president of Parents of Hyperactive/ADD Children and ADDult support groups in Toledo, Ohio for 10 years and editor of the first newsletter (ADDult News) geared towards adults with AD/HD. Mary Jane was on the ADDA Founding Board, and has held the offices of Secretary, President, Chair of Membership, Resources, and Adult AD/HD committees, as well as chairman/co-chairman of ADDA's first four conferences. Most recently she has become Vice President of Programming and is the Chair of the Conference Management Committee. Hobbies: Crochet, reading, going to movies, walking in the park, and desktop publishing.
Janet Kramer, M.D. Janet Kramer is a retired Internist-Adolescent Medicine specialist who was in private practice for 20 years in Wilmington, DE, prior to becoming the first full-time Director of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Christiana Care Health Systems in 1993. She served in this capacity till her retirement in 2000. During these 30 years, she established the first full service public school for chronically ill children and adolescents in a hospital (The First State School), developed health services for Delaware's juvenile correction facilities, and directly developed the school based wellness centers in nine of 29 Delaware high schools. Janet also was appointed by the US Secretary of Health to represent US internists on the first US Council of Graduate Medical Education for three years (1984 -1987). She is married to Brian Kramer, former and retired Director of Research at Hercules, Inc., and is at this time involved in public policy issues of chronic illness, correctional health, serves as a physician surveyor for the National Commission on Correctional Health Services, is treasurer for the alumni association at Drexel University Medical College, and is President of the League of Women Voters of New Castle County, Delaware and serves on the Delaware League of Women Voters Board.
Mission: To help adults with AD/HD become more accepting of themselves, recognizing their strengths, embracing their weaknesses and reaching toward their inner desire to live more fulfilled lives. Cynthia is a Life and Business Coach specializing in Adult Attention Deficit. She is the Founder/President of Kaleidoscope Coaching Services. Her professional experience spans over 30 years of office administration. She holds a BA in Sociology/Human Services from Montclair State University in New Jersey. Cynthia understands, firsthand, the challenges and obstacles of balancing family, work, college and managing her own and her son's AD/HD. Integrating her professional and personal background with her passion to work and connect with the AD/HD community is why she has chosen to help others through coaching. Having completed AD/HD coach training through the American Coaching Association, she is currently enrolled in the Co-Active Coaching Certification Program through The Coaches Training Institute. Cynthia has been ADDA's Membership Chair for two years. She has recently been appointed the Chair of Fund Development and is dedicated and committed to continuing her work with ADDA. Hobbies: Enjoys reading, listening to music, shopping, spending time with family and friends and stopping by Dunkin Donuts for a delicious cup of decaf coffee.
David Hain is the Founder and CEO of Gotham Growth Group, an international Corporate Development advisory firm (partnerships, joint ventures, M&A, financing, etc.) focused exclusively on the Talent Management industry. Mr. Hain is a highly energetic and successful business leader with diverse experience driving profitable growth in challenging, competitive and volatile markets. Prior to Gotham Growth Group, Mr. Hain was the CEO and Chairman of the Board of HR Technologies, Inc. - A venture-backed human capital software and services company. Prior to HR Technologies, Inc. Mr. Hain was a founder and/or co-founder of several businesses and business units for global 1000 companies. In addition to founding and selling several ventures in the Talent Management industry, Mr. Hain also served in senior management, business development and sales capacities for several global 2000 companies including Veba Ag, Univar and Chemical Leaman, Inc. Mr. Hain played a key role in formalizing several business units, opened the Mexican market, as well as growing a National Accounts program for Veba Ag’s US unit following heavy M&A activity. Robert (Bob) Madonna is a Principal and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McCoy Enterprises, a leading corporate employee training and consulting firm. In this capacity, He is responsible for all sales and business development activities. Mr. Madonna holds a bachelor degree in business administration from Widener University in PA Mr. In addition to his work with ADDA, Mr. Madonna currently serves as a Board of Trustee with The Silver Springs-Martin Luther School located in Plymouth Meeting, PA and an Advisory Board member of Educational Excellence and Entrepreneurship (3E Institute) at West Chester University. In addition, Mr. Madonna was a founding director of the Golden Cradle Adoption. Mr. Madonna is also an active member with the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Network Group (GPSEG), assisting executives in transition. Mr. Madonna resides with his wife and three children in West Chester, PA Hobbies: Golf, gardening, reading and collecting baseball memorabilia Mission: To promote a world where the challenges of learning differences and ADHD are identified, managed and ultimately valued. Beverly Rohman is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a long-time advocate, ADHD coach and consultant for learning differences and school searches. She is the founder of The Learning Connections, which is dedicated to helping adults, families, and students who struggle with ADHD. Beverly particularly enjoys helping clients develop their strengths that lead to more successful and satisfying lives. She has completed multiple and intensive training programs on learning, coaching, and ADHD with such experts as Mel Levine, M.D., Russell Barkley, Ph.D., Patricia Quinn, M.D., and Jane Nelson, Ph.D. In addition, Beverly spent 4 years as personal assistant to Dr. Ned Hallowell, has a coaching certificate from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), is a graduate of the ADD Coach Academy and serves on the boards for the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) and Talbot Mentors. She also has extensive experience interacting with secondary schools and colleges who serve students with ADHD. The mother of three adult children, one with diagnosed learning differences, Beverly resides with her husband, Peter, in Easton, MD. Hobbies: In her spare time, Beverly enjoys cooking, entertaining, family gatherings, gardening, home projects, paddle tennis, reading and sailing. She is active in her church and is a faithful Christian.
Mission: To help adults with AD/HD to move beyond their pasts and create a better future. Ari Tuckman, PsyD, MBA is a clinical psychologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating children, teens, and adults with AD/HD. His book, “Integrative Treatment for Adult AD/HD: A Practical, Easy-to-Use Guide for Clinicians,” has earned excellent reviews. He is a frequent speaker and has given more than one hundred presentations on AD/HD and other topics. He facilitated a monthly adult AD/HD support group for the Northern Virginia chapter of CHADD for five years and was named Professional of the Year. He has been facilitating a monthly teen AD/HD support group for Chester County CHADD since September 2005. Hobbies: Woodworking, listening to music, reading, tinkering on the house, and running much more slowly than he used to. |
